Magic Monsoon Forest Camp

A collage of images of the Alice Springs Desert Park

Monsoon Forests are generally found in isolated pockets in the Top End often associated with natural springs. The Territory Wildlife Park has its very own pocket of pristine, naturally occurring Monsoon Forest which is fed by Berry Springs. Black Flying Foxes, Pacific Bazas and Rufous Owls are our resident Monsoon Forest inhabitants. A stroll along the boardwalk reveals the crystal clear waters of Berry Springs bubbling up in between the forest of soaring palm trees and spreading fig trees creating a cool and inviting retreat to explore and enjoy.
